======================== So, what do people think of this place? Answer: always 4 or 5 stars! Here's some snippets from independent reviews: "I adored it, and so did my grandparents (I'm 23, they're in their 70s)!" - 5 stars! (JF, Glasgow) "The absolute highlight of our trip to Edinburgh! The atmosphere and music was amazing! " (BB, W Midlands) "This Edinburgh institution surpassed all my expectations!" (AM, Ireland) "Essential! Don't visit Edinburgh without going to this magnificent cave." (HH, Spain) "It's not just jazz. Funk/Soul guitarist Aki Remally would impress Jimi Hendrix himself. My best night in Edinburgh." (TG, Texas) "Great late-night hide away, a superb and diverse range of music!" (TX, Edinburgh) "Love it. Great place to go. the musicians have fun, and you feel a part of it." (AZ, Edinburgh) "Pretty much the only place in the city with high-calibre live music on any day of the week. This underground jazz club is intimate, dark, and has a real finesse. The music is by no means limited to the rather elitist confines of jazz." (TJ, Edinburgh) "It's all about the music, and despite its name hosts funk, blues and a whole variety of shows. Lots of dancing too (yes in a jazz bar!)" (AF, Edinburgh) "I LOVED IT. It had a nice, chilled out atmosphere with a real mix of customers." (CM, Edinburgh) "This beats some awful 'ClubNight' where the noise rattles your teeth. You're listening to somebody live who actually puts soul and passion in music - wonderful." (JM, Edinburgh) "The best place to go of an evening in Edinburgh. Live, good music and decently priced drinks. Highly recommended, well worth the experience." (TB, California) "One of Edinburghâs hippest nightspots, a welcoming place to enjoy great live music and a friendly, comfortable atmosphere." (EW) "Great venue, and check out the late Monday band, absolutely brilliant & definitely worth a visit!" (Jane) "I really love this place and its atmosphere, I always found nice people and great music. Price are reasonable and staff is very friendly." (MD) =================
